CAMPUS BUILDINGS


BOGEL HALL 

Bogel Hall, named in honor of Sister M. Edwina Bogel, F.S.S.J., who served as the first President of Hilbert College. Bogel Hall is the center of academic activity on campus with classrooms, offices, St. Clare Chapel, and a reception area.  

CAMPUS CENTER

The Campus Center is located at the heart of campus and is home to the Dining Hall, Bookstore, and Campus Safety.  

FRANCISCAN HALL

Located next to the Reflection Pond, Franciscan Hall was originally designed as the home of Hilbert's administrative offices. It has since been transformed into the Student Union and Welcome Center. On the first floor, you’ll find Student Activities, the Student Government Association (SGA), Career Development, and Service Learning & Community Engagement, along with Admissions, Student Life, and Counseling. The second floor houses Registration and Records, Student Accounts, Financial Aid, the Business Office, the President’s Suite, and the Donough Board Room.

HAFNER RECREATION CENTER

The Hafner Recreation Center houses athletic department staff but is also open to students, faculty, and staff. This building is at the center of the student-athlete experience, featuring the court, weight room, and athletic training office.  

LEARNING COMMONS IN MCGRATH LIBRARY

McGrath Library serves as an extension of the classroom, as well as a central information hub for learning and research for Hilbert’s students, faculty, and staff. The Learning Commons in McGrath Library houses various offices, resources, and student services for academic success.  

PACZESNY HALL

This two-story academic building is named in honor of Sister Edmunette Paczesny, Ph.D., who served as Hilbert’s president for 32 years. This building is an extension of Bogel Hall, providing classrooms, Bert's Brews Coffee Shop, faculty and staff offices, Hilbert's Honors Lounge, the Veterans’ Center, and the Center for Creative Media.  

WILLIAM E. SWAN AUDITORIUM

William E. Swan Auditorium was named in memory of the late Bill Swan as a testimony to his dedication to the Franciscan spirit and ideals. This state-of-the-art auditorium seats 450 and is located next to Paczesny Hall as an ideal venue for conferences, seminars, cultural activities, and other artistic programs for the on-campus and surrounding communities.  

TRINITY HALL

Trinity Hall serves as the first-year and upper-class student residence hall, offering several types of housing like doubles, suites, and triples. This building houses Residence Life & Community Standards, student mail services, and athletic facilities.  

ST. JOSEPH HALL

St. Joseph Hall is the original residence hall housing upper-class, transfer, and first-year students in double-style rooms with access to the game room and residence kitchen. This building is also home to the Health Center on the first floor.  

THE CAMPUS APARTMENTS

The Campus Apartments of St. Agnes House, Leo House, Sr. Katherine House, and Rufino House are home to our upper-class students. These spaces offer 4- or 5-bedroom apartment units with a living room, kitchen, and bathrooms.
