SERVICE LEARNING & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The Office of Service Learning & Community Engagement promotes and supports the development of students as civically engaged and socially responsible lifelong learners through the offering of reciprocal co-curricular programs, academic service-learning initiatives, and volunteer service projects that meet the needs of our campus, local, and global communities. Hilbert College's service-learning graduation requirement is found in the Hilbert College Catalog. 

In addition to the support of academic service-learning initiatives, the Office of Service Learning & Community Engagement organizes community service opportunities, civic engagement programs, and reflection experiences.  These opportunities are designed to provide the Hilbert community with opportunities to engage with our Franciscan mission, inspire lifelong civic engagement, and serve and strengthen our local and global communities. The Office of Service Learning & Engagement is located in the Center for Student Involvement & Leadership, Franciscan Hall 102.
